  • The sport of life, life is forever stressing us out, MAT can help by improving the neuromuscular systems ability to communicate more efficiently. Regaining strength you thought was gone. We can help with sports performance. Andrew is a strength & conditioning coach by trade, & has worked with young athletes just getting started all the way up to working with college & professional football, basketball, golf, tennis, baseball, volleyball, softball, track & field athletes.

  • Isophit MSK, Barbells(including specialty bars)we have equipment that works to the client, not the other way around, Dumbbells, Bands Multi-Functional Cable Machine, Row Ergometer, Ski Ergometer, TRX suspension Straps, Blazepod Reaction Training, Agility Ladder, Plyometric Boxes, Balance Pads, Medicine Balls, Kettlebells, and jump ropes.

  • YES, EVERYWHERE! The body is an integrated system, and the system is only as good as its individual parts. We look at the body as whole, and down to the individual muscle.

  • We aren't one size fits all kind of practice. We have the goal of trying to help as many people as possible, so we offer other modalities to clients so they can improve their well being from different types of bodyworks, and all without any prescription medicine. We believe together, that all of the services we offer can leave a dramatic impact on our clients lives!

  • First time you come into our studio, we will be sitting down with you, going through health, injury, athletics, occupation, history. From there we determine together whether it is appropriate to just start into a workout program, or we should start off with some MAT sessions first to get things back into more efficient movement. By doing this, it will allow us to better serve you and optimize your exercise program, and deliver the results you're looking for. In the training space, you will always feel comfortable in the private one on one environment. Homework is assigned to clients to better serve them. We aren't the magic bullet, consistency is the magic bullet. We are your GPS on the road to your success. (I know that's corny, but it is what we do :D)

  • It all depends on how your body is moving. We are not doctors, so we cannot diagnose/treat any injuries, ei. base things off of pain. However, by utilizing a range of motion exam, the body will tell the MAT practitioner where to treat, and often times it isn't where the pain is. Great example of that was a client that came in to me with neck pain, I went through the range of motion exam, nothing major showed up until I got to the client's ankles. They could not point their one foot down at all. So I treated all the muscles that were associated with that motion, and at the end of the session being able to point their foot, & the client got off the table & said, "my neck pain is gone, what did you do?!"
I like to use analogies a lot, so I explain to clients what's potentially going on when they have some sort of pain they're coming to see me with. Pain is a "CHECK ENGINE" light (like the one on your dashboard), pain is the only way the body can communicate to the brain that something is wrong. When you take your car to a mechanic do they look immediately to the "check engine" light? No, they run a diagnostic on the computer to see where the problem is, and that's what a MAT practitioner's diagnostic is with the range of motion exam. After completing the exam, it will take us to the potential (barring any mechanical/congenital defect) underlying issue.
So the cool thing is that I can use the same exam with everyone, and can have completely different outcomes (like everyone having their own unique puzzle) on why someone's back is in pain/tight. Is it the back? Is it lack of strength in the abs? Is it the hips? Is it the feet? Answer, I don't know until we get you in to figure out what is going on. The human body is a complicated integrated system, and that system is only as good as its individual parts. If the individual parts aren't moving as effectively as they can, the whole system can be affected.
